  • Individual Therapy

At one point or another we all experience the need to process ideas and share emotions that we may or may not be able to share with those around us. Youth and young adults tend to feel this on a bigger scale because the world is new to them. They tend to shy away from sharing their thoughts and experiences out of fear of punishment, out of fear of being ridiculed by their peers or the pressures of societal expectations/norms. At crucial points in their lives where they are trying to find themselves, they tend to be influenced by their surroundings, often to their own detriment. Whether it be due to cultural beliefs, societal norms, or fear of judgment, we stay away from exposing our true selves.

Through individual therapy I create an environment where each client I work with feels important, listened to, empowered, and can heal through vulnerability. I create a space where I explore feelings and emotions at a level that anyone can understand, and educate on emotional intelligence while helping build resiliency.

My therapy style is non-judgmental, welcoming, warm and interactive. For me, it is important to treat everyone with respect and compassion. My approach is to tailor our dialog and treatment to meet each individual’s needs. I will do this by combining different approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and solution focused. All of this while empowering each individual to be the best version of yourself.

  • Group Therapy

In a world full of billions of people, and in a world where technology allows us to connect to hundreds and thousands of individuals at any given moment, we feel lonelier and more isolated than ever before! No matter how many times we ”connect,” we feel unseen and unheard, as though our problems don’t matter and everyone else has it better. We feel the heaviness of the world we are in and yet suffer in silence out of fear of judgment.

But what if there was a world in which we could be vulnerable and share our experiences? A place where we feel seen and heard without any judgment. Where we connect to heal and carry that light into the world.

    That is what we create!

We create a safe space that allows our youth and young adults to learn the power of vulnerability and promote healing. A place where we share our stories, create connections, and build resiliency that allows us to manage in this demanding world.

The topics we can discuss are endless; trauma, grief, sadness/depression, anxiety, transitional phases of life, suicide, bullying, and much more.
